Bingo and Pull Tab Policies

Games are conducted by and for Prairie Public Broadcasting. Prairie Public Broadcasting provides quality radio, television, and public media services that educate, involve, and inspire the people of the prairie region.

General Policies

A person that knowingly solicits, provides, or receives any inside information from or to any other person, by any means, or uses fraudulent scheme or techniques to cheat or skim involving pull tab games, regardless of the amount gained, the offense is a Class C Felony punishable by a five (5) thousand dollar fine or five (5) years in prison or both.

North Dakota State gaming allows an employee to assist a handicapped player only.

The IRS requires us to withhold 30% of all winnings from anyone we know to be a non-resident of the United States.

If a player attempts to falsify or falsifies a record of win, the prize is forfeited.

PPB will cancel a session due to inclement weather and power outages.

If a customer owes Prairie Public money for a bad check, Prairie Public will withhold winnings to cover the check and the service charges.

Any player winning $1200.00 or more, Dakota Skies Bingo is required by law to contact the Department of Human Services before making payment.

Pull Tab Policies

Players must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.

The play of any one game will not be restricted to any one player or group of players.

A winning ticket must be redeemed within fifteen (15) minutes.

A pull tab cannot be redeemed if it is taken from the gaming area. The bathrooms and entryways are not part of the gaming area.

A deal may be added to a pull tab game at any time.

A limit of 200 pull tabs may be purchased by one or more persons provided the level of the jar does not go below two hundred fifty (250) tickets in the estimation of the jar operator.

All sales of pull tabs are on a first come, first serve basis.

When a game is being closed, a notice will be posted.

When a pull tab game or prize board game is being sold out, and there are two or more active players, only 20 tickets, including consolation winners, may be purchased at one time.

When a game is being closed out, posting with cease when there is less than six (6) $50 or larger winners remaining, to the best of our knowledge.

When closing out a commingled game, the game will be pulled from active play when, to the best of our knowledge, all posted winners or top tier winners have been redeemed.

Last cash sale will be at 12:45am unless otherwise announced or posted.

Freezing of games is prohibited.

Please inspect all tickets before leaving the jar bar. Defective tickets may not be exchanged after leaving the jar bar.

To the best of our knowledge, the number of major winners remaining in a game will be posted unless the game is being closed out. These postings are not guaranteed. We will not pay any missing winners.

Bingo Policies

No one under the age of 16 is allowed in the building. 16 & 17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult throughout the entire session.

Credit play is prohibited.

A winner must bingo on the last number called.

It is the customer's responsibility to make themselves seen as well as heard before the next number is called. Only the caller may officially recognize a bingo. If the caller does not verbally recognize your bingo, SHOUT AGAIN.

A number is officially called when the whole letter and number is spoken.

A bingo will not be recognized after the game has officially been closed by the caller.

The costumer is responsible for their own receipt. Check to make sure you have your receipt before leaving the cashier. This receipt must be visible at all times. Please check your receipt for errors and inform the cashier immediately of any discrepancies between your cards and the receipt. You will be be paid according to your receipt, not your cards.

Complaints and discrepancies must be directed to the Manger on Duty. Complaints or discrepancies must be brought to the Manger's attention at the time of the problem.

No card may be purchased after the first number for a game has been placed in the monitor or after close of sales as indicated by the caller.

A player may play a bingo marking device and additional cards at the same time.

No player can split a package w ith another player (cannot cut a 6 on 1 in half). No player may share a package with another player (2 customers may not play the same package at the same time). Customers may give their bingo paper to another customer to play. Customers may give their machine to another player to play as long as the recipient does not already have a machine.

Each person must play the regular program to play extra games unless otherwise specified in the program or house rules.

Paper sheets may not be separated.

Games are played in sequence. On cards where there is more than one winning pattern, either pattern may occur first.

Management reserves the right to make changes in the program at any time.

Lighted number board is a convenience. Actual ball drawn and shown is official.

Multiple winners on any game (afternoon, evening & last chance sessions) will be split equally with a minimum payout of $10, midday splits to a minimum of $5. Brunch will be a percentage payout.

If a player is playing more than one face, and has more than one bingo, each bingo is counted separately for payout purposes.

If a prize is merchandise and cannot be divided, DSB will continue on till there is only one winner.

To the best of our knowledge, we do not sell duplicate cards.

No exchanges made for packages after leaving the cashier.

No shirt, no shoes, no service.

We have the right to refuse service to anyone.

We cannot accept checks that have been altered in any way.

A bingo card is void if it is taken from the gaming area. The bathrooms and entryways are not part of the gaming area.

The IRS requires us to fill out a W2G form for any single bingo win of $1200.00 or more.

Any player winning $1200.00 or more, DSB is required by law to contact the Dept. of Human Services before making payment.

Quick Shot Bingo Policies

No one under the age of 16 is allowed in the building. 16 & 17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult throughout the entire session.

The actual letters and numbers pre-drawn by the organization are official.

Quick shot marking device is void if it is taken from the gaming area. The bathrooms and entryways are not part of the gaming area.

An employee may only assist a player in how to use a quick shot bingo card marking device.

No player can use more than one quick shot bingo card marking device at a time during a session.

If a player attempts to falsify or falsifies a record of win, the prize is forfeited.

A player may not sell the remaining credits on a device to another player.

A player must present the player’s receipt when redeeming prizes or cashing out credits.

If a player has more then one bingo, PPB will pay all winning patterns.

If a player loses their receipt, we will get their name and phone number, once we close for the session, if there are unpaid credits we will contact the customer to come in and we will pay them.

The IRS requires us to fill out a W2G form for any single bingo win of $1200.00 or more.
